History of HIMAPRO Geography
The Geography Study Program Student Association (HIMAPRO) of FISH, Manado State University (Unima) is a student organization that serves as a forum for self-development, interests, and talents of Geography students. The Geography Study Program Student Association (HIMAPRO Geography) was initially incorporated into the joint management of HIMAJU Geography Education. In 2018, HIMAPRO Geography was officially established as an independent student organization based on the Decree of the Dean of FISH Unima. Since then, the leadership of HIMAPRO Geography has developed from period to period as follows:

Vision and Mission of HIMAPRO Geography
All : "To become a Geography Study Program Student Association that is high-achieving, has integrity, and has a global perspective, and is able to develop the potential of Geography students to become competent and noble leaders."
Mission:
- Developing the potential of Geography students: Improving the academic abilities, skills, and knowledge of Geography students through academic activities, research, and community service.
- Increasing environmental awareness: Increasing Geography students' awareness of the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable management of natural resources.
- Building networks and collaboration: Building networks and collaboration with various parties, both internal and external, to improve the quality and relevance of the HMP Geography program.
- Developing leadership: Improving the leadership skills of Geography students through organizational activities, training, and self-development.
Divisions and Activities of HIMAPRO Geography
In carrying out its various programs, HIMAPRO Geography is supported by an organizational structure consisting of Chair Bunga Napitu, Secretary Renaldy Brayen Ngantung, and two divisions, namely the Finance and Resource Development Division coordinated by Evita Wewengkang and the Media and Public Relations Division coordinated by Flory Ignatia. Through this structure, HIMAPRO Geography actively organizes various activities such as the Inaugural Public Lecture on September 10, 2025, regular public lectures every three months, fundraising activities for Family Gathering IGEO, as well as preparation for implementation Family GatheringTo keep up with the latest developments in activities and information, HIMAPRO Geography also provides regular updates through its official social media on Instagram. @hmpgeounima_official, Facebook “Unima Geo Student Association» dan TikTok @Geography.Official.
